ADA University Foundation Presents 'JestPlus' Mobile App at World Urban Forum 2026

BAKU, Azerbaijan — The ADA University Foundation recently presented its innovative mobile application, JestPlus, at the prestigious World Urban Forum (WUF13) 2026. The project was showcased during a specialized session titled "Inclusive Cities and Independent Living for Persons with Disabilities."

During the session, Nuraddin Sadili, an instructor at ADA University and project supervisor, alongside Amir Adamov, the project's technical lead, introduced the initiative to an international audience. The presenters highlighted the critical role of inclusive communication and advanced accessibility features in developing modern urban environments.

JestPlus is an interactive mobile application specifically designed to facilitate and promote the learning of Azerbaijani Sign Language. The project aims to bridge communication gaps and foster independence for persons with disabilities.

The initiative was developed and launched with the strategic support of bp and its co-venturers, alongside telecommunications provider Nar.
