On November 16, ADA University, "Huma Quşu" Educational Support Fund and Cadenza orchestra jointly organized an event called "The Results of One Year" dedicated to the activities of the Fund for 2022-2023.
The event was attended by representatives of academic and diplomatic institutions, students, Humay's friends and colleagues, as well as media representatives.
At the event, Aygun Hajiyeva, Advisor to Vice Rector for Government, External and Student Affairs at ADA University and Deputy Director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy and Shahla Vazirova, the president of the "Huma Quşu" Educational Support Fund delivered their remarks.
It was mentioned that the Foundation was established to keep the memory of Humay Guliyeva alive and continue its humanitarian activities cooperating with ADA University and a number of other institutions in the direction of educational assistance.
Humay's friend and former manager Clare Bebbington shared her memories at the event.
At the ceremony, a presentation and a film were shown reflecting the dreams and optimistic plans of young people who pursue their bachelor's and master's studies, veterans of the Second Karabakh War, as well as new grant programs, and the one-year activity of the Fund.
The event ended with the "Lullaby of the Stars" concert program of Cadenza modern music orchestra directed by Türker Gasimzade. In the program, works by Faraj Garayev, Rahila Hasanova, Nicola Matteis, Antonio Vivaldi and Franz Schubert were performed by the Cadenza orchestra and soloists Jala Rasulova (piano) and Farid Feyzullayev.
It should be noted that another event dedicated to the one-year activity of the Fund was held in the Cultural Centre of Azerbaijan in Vienna offering cooperation for our compatriots living abroad.
